Will do - when I get a moment. As a quick update, I have been playing with the report aspect of EpiInfo. I need to produce a report of about 80 pages (STEPS from WHO, adapted for our "patients" - I have about 60 individual .xml files to import into the report, each file with between 2 - 12 analyses) ... one problem may have been that each file contains data formatted in such a way that it may be seen as a copy of, or contain the same information as, a previous .xml file or table. We are using Windows XP - our IT department is not crazy enough to actually use Vista. I find that by the 5th page I am unable to save the template, and get a variety of error messages. Let me compile a more complete report of all the issues, with screenshot if I can, and post that both here and on the BB site. Thanks for the help!

Greetings,

The error message did not appear as an image in your post. Would you be willing to re-post your topic on http://forums.myepi.info/viewforum.php?f=13?  I believe that forum has a better image / attachment system, though tony may have some tips for you to get it working on this one.  Once we can see the error, we should be able to help you solve the problem.

If you are using Windows Vista, make sure to download the DHTML Editing Control for Applications at http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=B769A4B8-48ED-41A1-8095-5A086D1937CB&DisplayLang-en

I am using EpiInfo 3.5.1 for a fairly large series of questions, close to the max 200+ queries. So far, so good, and analysis is functioning well. Creating a report causes the above error to appear whenever I add in fields for the report. No details are made apparant, but the output is named in a fairly similar manner, eg descriptive, descriptive1, C4:AgeRange. They are derived from the XML output obtained via analysis. Nothing of this is mentioned in the manual, so does anyone have any idea on resolution? I have recreated the data on several hard drives, the drive I currently use is 100% owned by myself with all admin rights.
